He is the editor of Learning TRENDS by Elliott Masie, an Internet newsletter read by over 57,000 business executives worldwide, and a regular columnist in professional publications, including CLO Magazine. He is the author of a dozen books, and is the convener of Learning 2018.
He heads The MASIE Center, a Saratoga Springs, NY think tank focused on how organizations can support learning and knowledge within the workforce. He leads the Learning CONSORTIUM, a coalition of 200 global organizations cooperating on the evolution of learning strategies, including CNN, Walmart, American Express, Walmart, Emirates Airline, Starbucks, General Electric and Fidelity Investments.
Elliott's professional focus has been in the fields of corporate learning, organizational performance and emerging technology. He has developed models for accelerating the spread of knowledge, learning and collaboration throughout organizations. Elliott is acknowledged as the first analyst to use the term e-Learning and has advocated for a sane deployment of learning and collaboration technology as a means of supporting the effectiveness and profitability of enterprises.
Elliott serves as an adviser to a wide range of government, education and non-profit groups. His service has included Skidmore College Board of Trustees and as a Board member of FIRST Robotics, COSMOSid and the CIA University Board of Visitors. He has served as a pro-bono advisor to the Department of Defense and on the White House Advisory Council on Expanding Learning Opportunities.

Richard Culatta is a leader in the field of learning innovations. He has worked in K-12, higher education, and workplace learning settings.
Prior to joining the leadership team in Rhode Island, he served as the Executive Director of the Office of Educational Technology for the US Department of Education where he focused on leveraging new technologies and data to create personalized learning experiences.
Culatta also served as the Chief Technology Officer for the CIA University and as a policy advisor in the U.S. Senate. Prior to joining the federal government, Culatta worked for Brigham Young University where he was instrumental in designing the university's online learning program. In 2016 Culatta was named one of the top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers by Government Technology Magazine.

Bos is a senior partner, and the Chief Learning Evangelist, at APPLY Synergies, a strategic consulting firm that specializes in helping learning organizations design, develop and measure effective learning and performance support strategies to meet the 5 moments of learning need.
Bob has been an active and influential leader in the learning and training industry for over 30 years and is renowned worldwide for his pioneering role in e-learning and new approaches to learning.
Bob came to APPLY Synergies from Ontuitive, a world leader in Performance Support Software, where he was the Global Chief Learning Evangelist. Before joining Ontuitive he was with Microsoft, where he was Director of Learning Strategy and Evangelism, a global business at Microsoft Corporation featuring innovative learning products that help individuals and organizations learn more and go further using Microsoft technologies. Bob helped guide and communicate the direction of Microsoft Learning’s products both externally to their customers, and internally throughout Microsoft. Bob started his career in adult education with Element K. He was their Executive Director of Education for 16 years where he helped direct and influence their learning model and product.
Bob has worked with clients such as McDonald’s, Bank of America, Herman Miller, Hitachi, Disney University, Progressive Insurance, Huntington National Bank, Bank of America, Travelers Insurance, The Defense Acquisition University (DAU), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Boeing, ADP, Amway, CDW, GE Medical, Humana, and ExxonMobil.
He is the co-author of two books: Training for Results and Innovative Performance Support: Tools and Strategies for Learning in the Workflow. Bob also spent five years as a teacher in New York's public schools, and has a master's degree in computer education from Nazareth University in Rochester, NY.
Brooke Thomas-Record helps manage Elliott Masie’s Learning CONSORTIUM and is the Program Manager for the annual Learning conference. She works with the 200+ organizational Learning CONSORTIUM members throughout the year, coordinating communications and small meetings, and conducting interviews on trends and work being done in the learning field. She helps design and develop the overall program for the annual Learning conference, working with a wide range of organizations to curate and develop content for 180+ break-out sessions and activities. She has been with The MASIE Center since 2005.
